SPS (Suicide Prevention Squad) is a Christian-run suicide prevention initiative in South Africa. We are not a hotline. We are your people — a group of young believers using everything God put in us to reach a generation that is hurting.

What we stand for

• Faith is not a cure — mental health struggles are not a sin problem.
• Community over isolation — we build spaces where young people can be honest about their struggles without shame.
• Jesus is hope — not religion, not a system, a person.

What we actually do

• Represent Christ authentically
• Break down stigma around mental health, suicide, and doubt
• Let young people encounter God for themselves
• Work to prevent both suicide and walking away from God
• Help young people use their gifts
• Build honest community
